1. The Homeowner
determines what Architectural Change he/she would like to make.
2. The Homeowner must obtain an Application
for Architectural Change. This form can be obtained by
downloading it, contacting any
Architectural Change Committee (ACC) Member, or contacting the Vanguard Management Associates.
3. The Homeowner
uses the form to describe in detail all proposed improvements, alterations
or changes to your lot or home. Any and all required details by sketches,
drawings, clippings, pictures, catalog illustrations and other data should
also be attached. The Homeowner should show location of item on his/her
property on a copy of the survey. Details of color(s), measurements,
materials, and any other pertinent information should also be included.
The homeowner will need to
fill out a separate form for each proposed Architectural Change.
4. The Homeowner must
obtain signatures from the 4 neighbors who would be most affected by the
posed Architectural Change. If the change is to occur in the rear of the
home, and the home backs to the woods, only 2 signatures are required.
5. The Homeowner should
mail the completed form and all supporting documentation to:

6. Vanguard will document
the submission of the application and will forward it onto the
ACC.
7. The ACC will meet
and either approve or disapprove the application.
8. The ACC will
communicate the results of their finding to Vanguard.
9. Vanguard will notify
the Homeowner as to the status of the application. If it has been
approved, then the Homeowner may begin the work necessary to implement the
desired Architectural Change.
